On the 15th of June 2020 non-essential shops in England reopened for business after 3 months of lockdown due to covid 19 protective measures. All shops in England are now allowed to open, but with strict safety measures. Today we will walk together from Oxford Circus to Tottenham Court Road.
This walking tour shows how shoppers reacted to the news that London is reopening after almost 3 months in lockdown. I walk the east side of Oxford street, starting from Regent street, Oxford Circus, Oxford Street and finish at Tottenham Court road station.
The main shopping district in London is coming back to life. We are all happy to get the chance to see all of our favourite retailers open again. It is not only the shopping experience. Furthermore we enjoy the busy and full of people streets. This is the typical London atmosphere. This is the unique feeling of being in one of the most visited capitals in the world.
