Walking London’s top shopping street just 1 day before the second national lockdown in England. It started on the 5th November. This walking tour covers Oxford Circus, part of Oxford Street, New Bond Street (Mayfair), Regent Street, Carnaby Street, Kingly St, Glasshouse St and Piccadilly Circus.
Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown in England, starting from Thursday. It will probably last until 2nd December, but it could be extended. People were rushing on the streets to finish their Christmas shopping, just in case there is an extension.
Pubs, restaurants and non-essential retail must close. Schools, childcare, colleges and universities will stay open.
