Today’s walking tour in London will take us to a very impressive area in the capital. Our walk will start from Sloane Square. Its location is quite interesting. It is a small square between three districts: Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia. All of these districts form a posh residential area, popular with its high prices and wealthy residents. We will continue our tour through Sloane Street all the way to Knightsbridge.

Sloane Square
The square is popular among locals and tourists, because it is leading to one of the best high-end retail streets in London. Around Sloane Square you can find some nice coffee shops and restaurants. The biggest building next to it is the Peter Jones department store. It is one of the oldest existing department stores in the United Kingdom. Inside you can find a variety of goods – women and men clothing, accessories, baby and child fashion, beauty, sport and leisure, furniture, home and garden and more. Londoners enjoy shopping there, because they have everything under one roof. No need to walk around and waste time. Reasonable prices and good quality are reasons for people to return to Peter Jones store in Sloane Square.
Interesting landmarks in Sloane Square are the Venus Fountain and the Chelsea War Memorial. Benches across the square will make you feel welcome to sit and relax with a cup of coffee or tea.
Sloane Street
The square leads to a very popular among the fashion lovers street – Sloane Street. From its very beginning you will be attracted to the colourful windows and displays of each shop. The street is recognised internationally as a great shopping destination. Tourists from all over the world come here all year around to take advantage of the high-end retailers.
The central location of Sloane Street makes it easy to access via London Underground or buses. The most convenient station is Sloane Square. It will lead you to the closest possible point to start your shopping experience.
The huge number of shops is what makes the street so special. You can see all the famous brands next to each other. The latest fashion trends are showing from every shop window. It is impossible not to be tempted to go in and browse the luxury items.
Here you will find: Balenciaga, Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Cartie, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Hermes, Chanel, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. Everyone can find something for themselves here. Sloane Street is leading to another posh area – Knightsbridge. Another shopping destination for Brits and tourists. In the heart of Knightsbridge is Harrods. One of the most famous luxury department stores worldwide. In Knightsbridge we will see the most outstanding building in red bricks – Harrods. Very luxurious department store well-known worldwide. The list of names of celebrities who live here is long. Among the stars owning a property are: Victoria and David Beckham, Taylor Swift, Madonna and many more.
